Mission and Outreach

Our God, through Christ, with the help of the Bible and our tradition (which branches directly from the Pilgrims and Puritans) calls us to address the needs of all people, for we are all God’s. Therefore, knowing we are a part of a “cloud of witnesses,” we do what we can to improve the economic, social, and political situation of all.

As Christ’s community we participate in:

  • One Great Hour of Sharing
  • Neighbors in Need
  • Church World Service
  • CROP Hunger walk to feed the hungry (in 1993 members and friends of the congregation organized the area’s first CROPWalk–which is now an annual ecumenical event.)

Through our New Horizons Outreach Ministry we support:

  • Turning Points Network which regionally supports women and families
  • Wilmot Learning Place
  • Kairos NH Prison Ministry
  • Church World Service
  • Kearsarge Regional Ecumenical Ministries  (visit KREM’s their website here)
  • NH Conference Camp Scholarships
  • Wilmot Christmas Baskets

Members and friends are active with:

  • Prayer Shawl Ministry by the “Cheerful Knitters”
