Join Us on Sunday Mornings for Worship and Fellowship at 9:30 A.M.

Sunday, March 4  –  There will be a potluck brunch after worship.  We will continue our discussion on Rev. Sara’s 2019 sabbatical, and will share our thoughts, ideas, dreams, etc., for how the church would like to use the time while Rev. Sara is away.

Tuesday, March 64:00  Lenten Study Group
This afternoon we will be looking at two Bible stories, the story of Hagar from Genesis 21:14-21 and Genesis 16:6-14, and the story of the Samaritan woman from John 4:7-26. Through the lens of these stories we’ll be discussing the ancient and modern issues of race and gender and how they intersect.  Rev. Renee Rouse will also share her investigations of African-American history here in NH.  To learn a little more before our discussion she has suggested reading the following… 
We will continue to gather with our friends from the United Church of Warner at 4:00 on Tuesdays March 13 and 20, here at FCCW to hear speakers, have discussions and learn from one another about God’s call and presence in our world today.  All are welcome!  

Also on Tuesday, March 6 – 10 a.m.  Pastoral Relations Committee will meet.

            And 8:30 – 10 a.m. at the Norris Cotton Federal Building, 275 Chestnut St. in Manchester.  An Interfaith Prayer Vigil will be held to show solidarity with immigrants at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) check-in, followed by a 10:30 meeting of the Granite State Organizing Project at Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Elm Street.  Contact GSOP at 603-668-8250.  See Robin Walkup about carpooling or for more information.

SundayMarch 18 – Parish Committee will meet after coffee hour.

Thursday, March 29 – Maundy Thursday service will be held starting with a soup and bread supper at 5 p.m. in Fellowship Hall, followed by communion.  We will then move to the sanctuary for the Tenebrae service.  Our friends from the Warner U.C.C. church will join us.

Easter Sunday, April 1 – The Sunrise service will be held at Best’s home at 6:30 Easter morning, followed by breakfast at the church.  Worship is at 9:30.
